Terms & Conditions

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account or use GymChamp.
• By registering, you confirm you are at least 18 years old.
• GymChamp reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts suspected of belonging to anyone under 18.

• You must provide accurate, truthful information when registering and keep your account details up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must not share your account or allow others to use it.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Edit Profile area. Deletion anonymises or removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use GymChamp for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose.
• Abuse, harass, bully, threaten or discriminate against other users.
• Post offensive, illegal, harmful, sexual, hateful or misleading content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Misuse the messaging system, spam others, or send unsolicited communications.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Platform.
• Use the Platform in a way that could damage or impair its availability or security.

• GymChamp's Fitness Test measures you across recognised, protocol-based tests covering seven components of fitness.
• Your raw results are converted into a 1–100 Fitness Score and component scores using age- and sex-stratified benchmarks.
• Scores are estimates based on population benchmark data. They are provided for informational and motivational purposes and are not a medical assessment or diagnosis.
• Benchmark provenance and validation status are shown where available so you can understand the evidence behind a score.
• You are responsible for performing tests safely and in line with the provided protocols.

• GymChamp runs monthly challenges across fitness categories. Participation may require a linked, licensed gym.
• You are responsible for ensuring any result you submit is honest, accurate and was genuinely performed by you.
• Submissions may be verified by other members or by GymChamp. Video evidence may be requested or provided voluntarily.
• GymChamp may remove, edit, disqualify or investigate any submission suspected of being false, manipulated or fraudulent.
• Leaderboards display member names, gyms and results. Rankings depend on the results submitted and are not guaranteed to be error-free.
• GymChamp may modify, cancel or retire challenges at any time.

• Personal bests (PBs), achievements, badges and experience points (XP) are recorded based on your activity and results.
• These are provided for motivation and tracking and carry no monetary value.
• GymChamp may revise, reset or retire badges, XP or achievement features at its discretion.

• GymChamp may generate personalised training plans, focus plans, fitness reports and recommendations using AI based on your results.
• AI-generated content is general in nature and is not medical advice, a clinical prescription, or a substitute for professional coaching or medical guidance.
• You should use your judgement and seek professional advice before following any plan, especially if you have any health condition or concern.
• GymChamp does not guarantee specific results from any plan or recommendation.

• Gym members link to a participating gym to access challenges and leaderboards. Only members of licensed gyms get full access.
• Home fitness members can use the Fitness Test and profile features without a gym.
• GymChamp is not responsible for the conduct, equipment, safety or operations of any participating gym.
• If you request a new gym, GymChamp will review the request but is not obliged to add it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including fitness results, physical stats and profile details. Inaccurate or misleading information may affect your scores, rankings and account standing.

• You retain ownership of content you upload (such as profile photos, comments and video links).
• By uploading content, you grant GymChamp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, store and adapt that content within the Platform and for GymChamp promotional purposes.
• You must not upload content you do not have the right to share.
• GymChamp may remove content that breaches these Terms.

The GymChamp name, branding, logos, design, software and content (other than user-generated content) remain the property of GymChamp. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without written permission.

• GymChamp is free for gym users. Participating gyms pay a monthly subscription to be part of the Platform.
• Where payments are processed (for example, gym licences or PT session packs), they are handled by our payment provider, Stripe.
• Pricing, trials and promotional offers may change with reasonable notice and may be amended or withdrawn at GymChamp's discretion.
• Refunds are handled at GymChamp's discretion on a case-by-case basis.

GymChamp may suspend or permanently terminate accounts for:

• Breach of these Terms.
• Fraudulent submissions or cheating.
• Abusive, harassing or harmful behaviour.
• Misuse of the Platform or suspected fake accounts.

You may delete your account at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GymChamp, its owners, employees, affiliates, partners, gyms, sponsors and administrators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, personal injury, medical, financial or property losses arising from your use of the Platform or participation in any fitness test, challenge, workout, training plan or leaderboard activity.

Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable UK law.

GymChamp does not guarantee uninterrupted access, uptime, error-free operation, or the permanent availability of any feature, challenge, leaderboard or piece of content. We may update, change or discontinue features at any time.

We may update or change the Platform and these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
